OUR STORY
In 2024 at one of the region’s premiere events—the annual Murrumbateman Field Days—Chris Hughes celebrated 50 years in the agriculture, civil construction and hire industries. Starting out in 1974 as an apprentice plant hire mechanic in Wagga Wagga, Chris is versed in both conventional and organic farming practices. Once a councillor on the board of the Australian Organic Federation in 1998 and co-founder of the Riverina Organic Farmers Organisation, Chris went on to work for Tyco Canberra in 2003 as a line serviceman, technician and telecommunications manager. Chris applies his extensive knowledge in agricultural, civil and construction equipment as the CEO and executive sales manager of Adamah Civil Equipment Sales. Previously working with Apco Australia Tractors & Harvesters, Komatsu, Kobelco and XCMG, Chris today specialises in sourcing, selling and servicing market-leading OEM machinery.
